PUER Origin

PUER was born out of a season of healing.

The name PUER comes from the Latin word for “child.” It reminds us of the part of the soul that still dreams, still hopes, and still remembers who we were before the world told us who to be.

After a near-fatal accident, Brooke faced the disorientation of a body and mind that no longer felt like her own. Ordinary tasks were foreign; she felt like an imposter in her own body, and the future was uncertain.

In that space of recovery, small rituals became anchors. Essential oils offered presence and intention—small moments of comfort that reconnected her to something steady. Her mother applied them with care, offering relief when little else could. Her young daughter — eager to help — used the oils as a way to connect when she felt helpless. Those moments of connection marked the beginning of PUER. They reminded her that intention and love can reach even the hardest places.

At first, PUER wasn’t a brand; it was a feeling — a quiet signal to return to what matters: love, presence, and belonging. Over time, it evolved alongside Brooke’s journey of reclaiming self, breaking cycles of codependency, and re-learning how to live vibrantly. Healing became less about fixing and more about re-patterning — learning to stay connected to herself even while caring for others.

As she deepened her practices of gratitude, breath, truth, and intention, a different kind of strength began to grow. The oils, the bodywork, and the breath became more than tools; they became a language for reconnection.

PUER grew from that soil. What began as a personal ritual has become a living practice that helps others move from survival into vibrance — through presence, gratitude, truth, and embodied action. These are the Pillars of PUER.

Today, PUER exists for anyone longing to return to their truth.
Each offering is an invitation to pause, breathe, and remember that hope is still alive in you.
